Tim Landry (born 3 September 1955; age 68) is a visual effects artist and filmmaker who worked as visual effects artist on Star Trek: The Next Generation. [1]

His work on the science fiction series Earth 2 earned him an Emmy Award in the category Outstanding Individual Achievement – Special Visual Effects in 1995 which he shared with Star Trek: Enterprise special effects technician Kevin Pike. In 2014, he received a Visual Effects Society Award nomination in the category Outstanding Visual Effects in a Special Venue Project for Mystic Manor.

Early in his career, Landry worked as cel painter on the short comedy Gravity (1976) before he worked as animator on the music documentary series Soul Train in the 1980s. He then worked as visual effects artist on projects such as Freejack (1992, along with Don Lee) and Coneheads (1993, with Mark Stetson, Adam Howard, Elizabeth Radley, and Erik Nash).

As visual/gigital effects supervisor, Landry contributed to the creation of television series such as The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. (1993), Earth 2 (1994-1995, starring Clancy Brown, John Gegenhuber, and Terry O'Quinn), JAG (1995-1996), Invasion (2005-2006), and Prison Break (2005) as well as Alien Nation: Millennium (1996), Alien Nation: The Enemy Within (1996), and Alien Nation: The Udara Legacy (1997).

Film work includes The Crow (1994), the comedy Dr. Jekyll and Ms. Hyde (1995), Moses (1995), Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves (1997, working with R. Christopher Biggs), George of the Jungle (1997) and My Favorite Martian (1999, starring Christopher Lloyd), the comic adaptation Inspector Gadget (1999), The Sixth Sense (1999), Shanghai Noon (2000), Snow Dogs (2002, with Nichelle Nichols), Bulletproof Monk (2003), Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), Out of Time (2003), Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004), and Charlotte's Web (2006).
